Chanel Reissue 227 Double Flap Bag

The Chanel Reissue Bag is a true French classic, re-released in 2005, having been initially designed by Coco Chanel herself in 1955. This is the bag from which the Classic Flap was born, and was indeed the first handbag to be carried by upper class woman on their shoulders. The patent leather provides durability with a glossy finish, while the gleaming silver tone hardware completes the glamorous look. Features: Dark navy blue patent leather exterior with royal blue stitching; silver tone hardware; bijoux chain link sliding strap which can be worn as a single strap or doubled over; rear exterior slip pocket; signature mademoiselle turn-lock; royal blue smooth lambskin leather lined interior; interior zip pocket within top flap; front and rear slip pockets between exterior and interior; snap closure opens second flap to reveal main compartment with deep blue leather lined interior and 3 x slip pockets.

Measurements: 31 cm (length) x 19 cm (height) x 10 cm (width) x 14/23 cm (handle drop).

Condition: Excellent condition. The patent leather exterior is in excellent condition with only light wear. The hardware, including chain strap, is shiny and in excellent condition, with some faint surface scratches on the turn lock. The lambskin leather lining of the top flap is in excellent condition with light wear. The leather lined main interior shows a little more wear, with some light creasing, and light rubbing throughout, but is still in great condition and presenting very well.
